Wearing Lingerie Out In Public

Doesn’t it seem like yesterday we were baring our midriffs in our favorite crop-top and high waist denim. It’s safe to say those days are coming to an end as the bra-top trend is taking over.

As seen on the Spring 2017 runway, designers like Alexander Wang, Oscar de la Renta, Yeezy, and Tory Burch were seen styling lingerie with more than your cut-off denim short. The spring line up showed lingerie-like pieces styled with cropped jeans, evening skirts, slinky suits, and track pants.

Wearing your lingerie out takes ample confidence and chic styling. Remember you are not walking out of the house in your bra and undies. This trend has full potential to be extremely feminine and of course sexy. When styling keep in mind balance, if you are sporting a bra as your top, your bottoms must keep something to the imagination. Also, take a cover up like a silky kimono or a long duster in case you feel a little to exposed or to simply add layers to our outfit.
